The therapist. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural, bilingual social worker. She has more than 13 years of experience working in nonprofits. She's worked in a number of different settings, for example, working with LGBTQ+ individuals, people suffering from addiction issues as well as survivors of sexual assault and partners who have been sexually assaulted. Mrs. Rivas has been serving Erie patients since the year 2019. Telehealth is currently offered in Behavioral Health. Mrs. Rivas belongs to the Behavioral health Perinatal team that works with pregnancies and postpartum woman. She is trained in adult EMDR and trauma-informed. Additionally, she offers group as well as one-on-one therapy, a Medication assisted therapy program, referral to special care, and Women's Support group. Amanda assists in finding forever animal homes as a Best Friends Animal Society Volunteer.
